About

Insights built on the ground
and within institutions.

I'm an international development professional with over 10 years of experience in partnerships, programme strategy, research and impact measurement, working with local and international NGOs across sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2025, I undertook independent research across 10 African countries, speaking with over 100 civil society organisations about their challenges, adaptive strategies and experiences of funding and localisation. These insights are now being synthesised and shared to inform more equitable and effective approaches to development.

Combining practical programme experience, regional networks and first-hand research, I bring an understanding of both the opportunities and challenges facing locally led organisations and their international partners. Through EMH Consulting, I draw on this experience to help organisations build stronger partnerships, make informed decisions and strengthen the effectiveness and impact of their work.
